Why We Built This
When a pipe bursts or a water heater fails, most homeowners do the same thing: they search, they panic-call, and they hire the first company that answers. They have no idea what the work should cost, what their insurance actually covers, or whether the crew on the way is qualified to dry their house properly.
Meanwhile, a lot of "restoration" websites are lead brokers — they take your call, resell your name to several companies, and disappear. EmesticaCure is the opposite of that model: we list companies with useful service and location details, we tell you what each service involves and what it should cost, and we clearly label which companies have claimed their profiles and which are listed from public business information.
Our guides are reviewed by our editorial lead, Marcus Delgado — an IICRC Master Restorer with 18 years in Georgia basements, crawlspaces and insurance files. The directory is maintained by the EmesticaCure team in Atlanta, and it grows as real, verifiable companies join.
How We Operate
Honest labels on every listing
Listed means we published the company from its own website — nothing more. Verified and Featured mean the company signed up with us and a moderator reviewed its documents. We never blur that line, and we don't display reviews we can't verify.
Local companies, clear ownership
Unclaimed listings show normal public business details without phone numbers or website links. Owners can claim a listing to verify and manage it.
Guides written for homeowners
Our editorial lead is an IICRC Master Restorer with 18 years in the trade. The guides explain costs, timelines, insurance paperwork, and the questions that catch bad contractors.
Water damage only
We cover one trade deeply instead of everything shallowly: emergency water removal, drying, sewage cleanup, mold after water damage, and the rebuild that follows.
